Ally Murphy Speaking at One Voice Conference

I’m happy to announce that I will be presenting a talk at the One Voice Conference 2021 in London, UK. The event is the only UK based Voiceover conference and has been a huge success over the last few years.

I will be talking about the lessons I learnt setting up a new voiceover business 5 years ago, and giving my top tips on how to set yourself up for success as a new voiceover in the industry. I’m often contacted and asked how to get into voiceovers, so it’s going to be nice to be able to formulate all that information that I have learnt over the years and put it all together for the attendees.

I was very fortunate in my early career, and able to invest in my training and continue to do so. The business of voiceover is a business! And you need to learn the business side of things just as much as the microphone techniques. I will be talking about training, branding, your website, rates and marketing. With 5 years worth of experience in the corporate video production, commercial, e-learning and video game voiceover market, I’m happy to share what I have learnt with the newer voiceover artists attending the conference.

The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Docklands Riverside, which is located right on the River Thames with the most beautiful views of Canary Wharf. It’s running from the 19th – 22nd August 2021. Tickets can be purchased on their site and I look forward to meeting lots of amazing people!
